Products Description
This product features a classic design combining copper tubes with aluminum fins, specifically engineered to meet the high-efficiency heat transfer demands of HVAC systems. The core structure consists of high-purity seamless copper tubes and high-precision hydrophilic aluminum foil fins. Through an advanced mechanical expansion process, the copper tubes and fins are tightly bonded to minimize contact thermal resistance. The copper tubes offer excellent thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, ensuring efficient refrigerant flow, while the aluminum fins, known for their lightweight nature and high heat dissipation coefficient, significantly increase the heat exchange surface area. This structural design balances economic efficiency with stability and is widely used in unit-type air conditioners, chillers, and heat pump systems, capable of meeting the rigorous demands of long-term continuous operation.

1. Aluminum fin stamping
Using high-precision high-speed presses and progressive dies, the aluminum foil is stamped into the required fin specifications. Preformed flange holes slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the copper tube will be punched on the fins to ensure a tight fit in the subsequent process.
2. Pipe threading
Carefully thread the pre-cut, bent (if necessary) and cleaned copper tubes through the stacked aluminum fin holes. This process requires ensuring that the copper tubes are vertical and free from scratches.
3. Mechanical expansion tube
This is the most critical step. Insert the expansion rod (expansion head) into the copper tube and apply pressure mechanically or hydraulically. Under the pressure, the copper tube expands radially, increasing its diameter until it tightly adheres to the inner wall of the flange holes on the aluminum fins, eliminating all microscopic gaps.
Result: Achieve “interference fit” between the copper tube and the aluminum fins, ensuring that heat can be quickly transferred from the fins to the refrigerant inside the copper tube.
4. Welding and assembly
Pipe assembly: Use copper-phosphorus welding rods or silver welding to weld U-shaped elbows or liquid separation heads to the copper tube ends, forming a complete refrigerant circuit.
Side plate installation: Install the end plates or side plates, fix the entire tube-fin core body, and increase structural strength.
5. Leak detection and testing
Pressure test: Fill the coil with high-pressure nitrogen or helium and conduct a leak test to ensure no leaks at all weld points and pipe walls.
6. Surface treatment
Hydrophilic film treatment: Spray a hydrophilic coating (blue or gold) on the aluminum fins to prevent the formation of “water bridges” between the fins, reduce wind resistance and improve corrosion resistance.
